I recently read this quote by Neale Donald Walsch
Everything is falling together perfectly, even though it looks as if some things are falling apart. Trust in the process you are now experiencing.
What does it mean to have everything falling together perfectly and is that even possible?
For me, this saying, which I really like by the way, is one that resonates with my faith in God. I believe that when my situations are looking like they are falling apart, I know that God is really pulling them together. I place my hope in Him as He masterfully places the pieces together.
So, how do we trust in the process we are experiencing right now? By tapping into that hope you have in God. I’m in a new state, making new friends, seeking a new church and experiencing a new culture. I had no idea what I was doing when I moved from Missouri, to Texas and then to Maine. I just knew God was telling me to go.
I love the words penned in the book of James. Two years ago I camped out with James for over a month. Today I returned only to be even more refreshed than ever. Today, while I was writing, God brought me to a familiar passage that brought me closer to the meaning of my move.
“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he who has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.” James 1: 12 NIV
I am under a huge trial in my life right now and all I have to hang onto is hope. Hope in Jesus that everything will fall together perfectly. What about you? Are you under some spiritual trial? Are you waiting for things to unravel and revelation to come?
There’s hope and revelation in our situations, especially when we keep a personal full-time-seeking-love-relationship going with Jesus. I want to love Him, stay faithful to Him, EVEN UNDER PRESSURE, make the right decisions, so that I might receive eternal glory and honor forever.
